Interweaving the Polish traditional Bogurodzica, a 14th century plainsong hymn, with extracts of Julian of Norwich's Divine Revelations, this piece was commissioned to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Her highly distinctive compositional voice is reflected in the wide range of high profile commissions and performances that mark her career to date, both in the UK and internationally. She is perhaps best known for the large-scale work of 1998, the perenially popular Westmister Mass.
