Amram In Germany

David Amram to Visit Karlsruhe for Chamber and Orchestral Concerts
As part of the GLOBALE program at the ZKM in Karlsruhe, Germany, composer David Amram will be giving 6 European premieres over two days.

Wednesday, July 29th will feature four of the six premieres: Prelude and Scherzo for Unaccompanied Saxophone, Finale from Ode to Lord Buckley, Sonata for Violin and Piano, and Greenwich Village Portraits. Musicians Elmira Darvarova (Violin), Ken Radnofsky (Alto Saxophone), Damien Francoeur Krzyzek (Piano) will be performing and Amram is to accompany the ensemble on one piece.

Thursday, July 30th will be an evening of orchestral music led by Dr. Dieter Köhnlein and the KIT Orchestra. In the second half of the program, Amram will conduct the two remaining premieres: Theme and Variations on Red River Valley and In Memoria Chano Pozo.
