Errollyn Wallen Premieres

New Works to be Showcased on Both Sides of the Atlantic
In April and May, composer and renaissance woman of contemporary British music (The Observer) Errollyn Wallen will be featured at multiple events in both the United States and the United Kingdom. First, she will be giving a free talk at London's Club Inegales as part of their Rants series of lectures. Next, she will be performing on May 2 with the Arensky Chamber Orchestra at Kings Place, located in Kings Cross, in a program that will include the UK premiere of her Cello Concerto. The following day, a brand new choral work, See That I Am God, will be performed at St. Paul's Cathedral in a celebration to mark the 20th anniversary of the priesting of women in the Church of England. Finally, on May 3 and 4, the Melodia Women's Choir of New York City will perform the world premiere of Full Fathom Five, a work with text by Shakespeare. The first performance will be at the Holy Apostles Church and the latter at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music, both located in NYC.
