Robert Helps (1928-2001) was closely connected as a performer and composer with Spectrum Concerts Berlin. The group comes to New York to perform several chamber and solo works by Helps as well as Verklärte Nacht by Arnold Schoenberg on December 7, 2011 at Carnegie Hall. The recent C.F. Peters publication Nocturne by Helps will be on the program.
